Research
The aim is one living theory of consciousness, built by comparing how each field describes it. Where they agree, that is a finding. Where they disagree, the disagreement is the content.
- Science. Predictive processing, global workspace, integrated information, the default-mode network, psychedelic research and the hard problem.
- Religion. Buddhism, Hinduism, Sufism, Kabbalah, Daoist inner alchemy, Yoruba practice, Australian Aboriginal Dreaming and more.
- Spirituality. Jung, Huxley, Krishnamurti, Alan Watts, Ram Dass and modern non-dual teaching.
- Yoga. Patanjali, the Gita, hatha, tantra, kundalini and Tibetan yoga.
- Literature. Popular books on consciousness, read for what they distill well and what they flatten.
The rule throughout: hold the experience itself firmly and the metaphysics loosely.
